Our Commitment
OTRA Ltd is committed to reducing the environmental impact of our operations and achieving
net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050 or sooner, in support of the UK Government’s Net Zero Strategy.
As a responsible vehicle repair and maintenance business, we recognise the important role we play in reducing carbon emissions
and promoting sustainable working practices throughout our operations and supply chain.
Our commitment covers:
- Scope 1 – Direct emissions from company-owned vehicles, equipment and fuel use.
- Scope 2 – Indirect emissions from purchased electricity and energy.
- Scope 3 – Relevant indirect emissions including purchased goods and services, waste disposal, business travel and supplier activities where appropriate.
Baseline and Measurement
OTRA Ltd has adopted 2026 as its baseline reporting year against which future greenhouse gas emissions reductions will be measured.
We will:
- Measure greenhouse gas emissions annually.
- Report emissions in accordance with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol.
- Review our carbon footprint each year to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Monitor progress against our published reduction targets.
Carbon Reduction Targets
We are committed to the following milestones:
| Target Year | Commitment |
|---|---|
| 2030 | Reduce absolute greenhouse gas emissions by at least 10% from our 2026 baseline. |
| 2040 | Achieve a reduction of at least 30% in emissions and source 100% renewable electricity where practical. |
| 2050 | Achieve net zero greenhouse gas emissions across Scope 1, Scope 2 and relevant Scope 3 emissions. |
These targets will be reviewed periodically to ensure they remain ambitious, achievable and aligned with national policy.

To achieve these objectives, OTRA Ltd will:
- Improve the energy efficiency of our premises and workshop operations.
